Shibuya, Roll Call!

Off to the streets! Yeah! Shibuya is, I think, the most popular place in Tokyo, Japan. Full of people crossing to this street, full of branded clothing lines, and full of popular street foods in Shibuya. And while writing this, I realized that in our one whole week vacation tour there, we didn’t have the chance to try their street foods. I know how lame we are. We spent our time their shopping of course because we saw and compared a lot of branded shoes that are really good and affordable. We looked for shoes that doesn’t really popularly worn in the Philippines. Hahaha. Syempre para naiiba, diba. Hindi ‘yung Adidas Superstar or Stan Smith nanaman, Nike Air, and etc… Kasi ‘yun ‘yung madalas na sinusuot ng mga tao sa Manila. Haha. Kidding aside, yes, nakahanap kami ng shoes! Ang gaganda and ang mumura ng mga shoes nila compared dito sa Philippines. And their street foods, well, tinitignan lang namin. Ang weird though ‘cause we always plan that after a day of our tour, we would go and try the sushi, noodles especially the ramen somewhere in the Shibuya street. Sadly, hindi natuloy. Haha. I don’t know, maybe we are just completely focused on buying shoes or pasalubong nalang instead of trying Japan street foods which is rarely to go eat to. But as a girl, syempre, I am more of shopping than eating when travelling. Haha.

Hindi lang Shibuya yung street na napuntahan namin. I forgot the names of the streets na naputahan naming but there is one na parang Makati of the Philippines type siya. Very classy at ang lalaki ng mga buildings ng mga branded bags, shoes, clothes, etc. Talagang all of them are two to three floors. Tapos magkakatabi pa silang lahat. NAKAKAIYAK KASI… KASI… ANG MAHAL SYEMPRE, HELLO. Calvin Klein, Gucci, Prada, Dior, Louis Vuiton, Chanel, Coach, Zara, OH MY GOD… HINDI KO NA KAYA, PLEASE. Hay…

Anyways, the streets are very clean and there’s no traffic – every citizens of Manila’s dream. Yep, I know. Sobrang ganda talaga. And also, we tried there restaurants na hindi ko na alam ‘yung mga pangalan. Haha. It was all good. Their food are awesome and I think most restaurants in Tokyo, Japan serve one scoop of vanilla ice cream to each customer for free. It is very creamy and ang sarap talaga. I don’t know, parang homemade ‘yung pagkakagawa niya because of its texture? I don’t know but it’s still delicious. I hope we could go back there if possible para naman ma-try na namin ‘yung ramen nila sa street foods ng Shibuya. Hahahaha.
