THE 4PEAT

                It was an honor and a very lucky experience for me to have this huge opportunity. It was the last time to compete and to dance with my seniors and it was my first time to be in this competition. It was IPEA week in UST and this is their annual dance competition which is called Step Up IPEA Dance Competition. It was very tough and intense competition because we are defending our title for almost 4 years now and we’ve got it. It was the most amazing experience I’ve had for this school year.

                We are 15 lucky champs who won this competition. There were so many ups and downs in this team and still made it to the top.

                Our captain had noticed that this year was really kind of messy. There are so many things going on inside IPEA and their procedures and process of this competition was very confusing and complicated this year as compared to its previous years. But still managed it properly as it could. I know they are also trying their best to be organized and managed well to be a success program but I’m sure that there were always conflicts on its way to ruin almost everything so it was understandable.

                There are two categories: the advance and the novis. We are in the advance category. There are 4 teams competing for each category so everyone will have a place or award. This is the friendliest competition I must say. Yes, it was an intense competition but all competing teams are just cool with it and really just enjoy the competition unlike in Hype competition where everyone was so in beast mode and they are just so competitive (by the way, in my experience). We were the second to the last to perform and I was very, very nervous like hell. But I have to do it for the team.

                Awarding na… This was the scariest of all time. But we made it.
